Day three- I will probably have grilled chicken breast and steamed broccoli and a cheddar string cheese for dinner
So far night are the hardest - I crave something sweet- I got some yogi tea that has a sweet taste to curb my cravings. I had a major sweet tooth and would often eat fat free things like red licorice and fat free pudding that was loaded with sugar.

Oh hey
I'm back-
So it's been a crazy year right? I have gained 20lbs - covid pandemic, I got shingles this past winter and was very depressed and in a bad place. Olivia had to have knee surgery and My husband was out of work and we were all on top of each other and it was not harmonious.
So it's been a crazy year right? I have gained 20lbs - covid pandemic, I got shingles this past winter and was very depressed and in a bad place. Olivia had to have knee surgery and My husband was out of work and we were all on top of each other and it was not harmonious.
We made it through. I started Keto on the recommendation of my massage therapist with the plan to go to Paleo as Keto is not a good long term plan. I figured I would document my journey here as I find myself on a constant journey to be a healthier version of myself. I also post a lot of insta my user name is Laur_een3
So far I have lost four lbs and I started 3 days ago. I miss sugar but don't miss bread. Next up posting some starting pics to keep me honest and my recent grocery haul. I use the free app my manager to keep me on track.

Hey
Long overdue check in:
I got a little doughy over the holidays and am at 140. Back on track with My Fitness pal and I need to start working out. Its a little more difficult to squeeze in workouts with my long commute. I went from a 15 min commute to over an hour commute. I am not longer down the road from the Y. I have no excuse, I moved the elliptical from the unheated garage and its in my bedroom. I am choosing sleep over my workout.
so here we go... trying to get back on track... i'm 50 now and its important to be healthy.
