week 51

weight 136

I got three days in a row this week of outdoor couch to 5 k training and today I woke up with an ingrown toenail pain.... its really bugging me now, almost have to limp and I wore flip flops to court.... nice dressy flip flops.. lol.. but no heels for me. I have never had it like this before... with a big red bump... going to the doc tomorrow. I did some prone jack knife and resistance band work... but I just don't feel like its a workout without my cardio.

Lunch

tried the lean cuisine salad kit again.. for some reason I was less thrilled with it the second time around... the mushy red peppers really bugged me more so this time. I also purchased a different variety.. I will see if that one is any better.

Still fits

week 50

weight 136

I got outside most of this week to walk/run... so nice being able to do that. Let me tell you 2 miles on the treadmill versus 2 miles outside.... huge difference to my body.. outside is much harder. I have taken it easy on the new exercises this week and for a good reason I will explain below, I did a ab routine on Mon that had me pretty sore. Here is my problem.. I push hard mon through fri and then I can hardly move during the weekend. I use the weekend to rest & recover. This weekend the hubby and I are going on a little getaway to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.... so I want to be able to move & enjoy our time together instead of being so sore that I can't enjoy myself. I plan on splurging too... a nice meal & dessert. Then back to normal once I get home.

Happy Anniversary to us!!! ( going to try on my wedding dress.. have not done that in 10 years)

Tilapia take 2

I liked this much better than the plain tilapia.. this was breaded and oven baked... still low fat but crispy & yummy. I made it just how I would make chicken. These fillets were tossed in seasoned flour, then dipped in beaten egg and then coated in a mixture of bread crumbs, corn meal and seasonings... baked at 450 for 20 min. Liv liked it as well.
